About the Family History Computer Lab
Located in room 1031C in the Joseph F. Smith Building (JFSB) on the BYU campus, the Family History Computer Lab houses 27 computer workstations. These workstations are free to use if you are taking Religion 261 or if you are looking for lesson information.

Workshops are taught for six weeks during the first half of each semester. After workshops are completed, the lab is open all day as a help lab for students to ask the lab assistants questions.
The lab is closed on Tuesdays at 11 for devotional and Thursdays at 11 for staff meeting.
The lab will be closed on Labor Day (September 5), for General Conference (October 1), during Thanksgiving Break (November 23-25), and during the Final Exam Reading Day (December 9).
